A few enjoyable Sunday snaps with the x100vi

Lately, I’ve been wondering what to do with my images. As my recent Reddit post implies, I’ve found the online space more and more dissatisfactory - photos not only deserve more than the brief mid-scroll-double-tap; they deserve a conversation.

Replies to the above Reddit post offer some good food for thought. I could be more conscious about reaching the photographic community; I could make a photo book, make more prints, or start engaging more with the online community outside of Instagram.

That brings me back here. I used to enjoy posting to my blog a lot, but it’s fallen off each time I’ve tried to start it up again.

So this time, I’ll start small, and post just a handful of images I enjoyed capturing on Sunday. It was a beautiful first day of December, and Katie and I walked a quick lap of our favourite local loop down along the Fraser River. Here’s a few pics from along the way. All images are #SOOC (straight out of camera) with my Fuji X100vi.

Thanks for being here.
